i-140 applied in Jan 2006, RFE received question was for company not self, i-140 withdrawn.
Reapplied for i140 in June 2006 under new company, RFE recived 1 week back.
i485,AP and AOS package reached USCIS per DHL August 6th.

Trying to use my EB3 date in the EB2 category
Just spoke to an IO at TSC, She told me that the case is at a place what they call "Pending Review and final decision"
I asked her whats the next step after this?
IO : Hope fully will be assigne to some one
I Asked, isn't this the place where all the cases are "Pending Review and Final decision"?
IO: a big NO...no no..this is not the place where all the cases are, I can't provide anymore info then this, I was just being nice because you called at 3:30 pm.
Any body who has thier case in the pool of "Pending review and final decision".
Honestly, I think its just a general status that she told me about my 485 case.

My PERM was filed in Dec, 2006 and was denied on April, 2007. As per my employer's lawyer it was erroneously denied by DOL. The lawer has received the denial letter but no reason was stated. He was keep on follwing up with DOL but no answers. On Aug 2007, lawyer was followed up again directly with the DOL office in Atlanta , with the liaison at the American Immigration Lawyer's Association and also it was sent to the congressional office. Through Senetor we came to know that there was typo in the date field. The lawer is persuing to get the denal letter again with reason so that we can appeal. But we have 10% chance to get the another deial letter. Now lawer is asking for filling a new PERM. In between I lost 8 months and now I'm running out time. My 6th year is expiring on Sept08. Just incase if we din't get denial letter and file the new PERM on Mrach can we get the 7th year extension ? (We will show all the documents etc for previos denail case and there was no reason in denail letter. PLEASE HELP

I am currently on L2 visa with EAD and working for a company as direct employee. My wife is in L1. Both of our visas,I-94 and my EAD are valid till OCT-2010.
My wife has to go back to India as her current project is over.
My question is can a L2 visa holder with EAD stay back and continue working in U.S.A, after L1 has left the country ?.
Any information regarding this is highly appreciated.

I am having a problem and dont know where to start on this one, my experience in c# programming is average and was hoping for some advice on this subject. I have a disc image (an exact duplicate of a 40gb hard disc drive) the format is a dd image.
My task requires me to programmatically read through the files on this image, compare file extensions and recognise certain file types on the drive. Is this possible? I cannot find anyone who has attempted this on the internet and would appreciate any guidance to get the ball rolling.

Hi,
I had an approved I-140 from my previous company with a priority date of Nov 2005. I moved to a new company, and my GC was applied again in Dec 2006. My previous I-140 was used to retain my priority date. However, my new I-140 from this company shows the priority date of Dec 2006.
How do I make sure that my previous priority date (Nov 2005) is on file, and my case will be filed according to that.
