Stock options work like this
If a company gives you 100 shares at 10$ each that means you have the option to buy them by the expiry date at 10$ each.
So if within the expiry date they reach to 15$ you can buy them at 10$ and sell at 15$ getting a net profit of 5$ per share ( 500$ )
In your case the share price is below what you will have to buy the shares at . So no use. You will be losing money in case you decide to sell them.
Although if you think the share price is going to rise in the future you can buy them and hold them long term until the share price rises above 30 and you make some good money .

I know someone who went to Canada for the weekend and got the I-94 with the correct date on it.
Note that the airline (AA), on his way out of the US, was not willing to take his I-94 since he was going for less than 30 days. So he had to explain to them about his situation and they took it.
Also note that if you have an Indian passport, you will need a visa to go to Canada.
The other option to extend your I-94 is for your employer to refile I-129, and request for extension of stay. This can be done using premium processing.
Hi, I recently got a H1B extension stamping in Chennai consulate upto 2010 and I came back to SFO last week. Since my passport is expiring on July 2009. I-94 was issued upto July 2009.
Now my issue is to extend my I-94 upto the validity of H1B visa. I went through similar thread and it says crossing US border to Mexico or Canada will do to get the new I-94. So I am planning to make a trip to Mexico after my passport got renewed to renew I-94. Does it work?. Or do I have to go out of American Continent to get the new I-94. Some thread from (other sites) said, I need to go out American Continent..Is it true?.
Or is there any other way to extend my I-94 without crossing the border?.
Gurus - Please help if you faced any similar situation and sucessfully got your i-94 renewed.

@gcformeornot - Thanks for the reply. Its my current employer who has applied for H1 as my L1 is maxing out, so, I am not in a total rush to change employers.
@surabhi - Thanks for the detailed reply, much appreciated. Your answer to my #2 question just made my day. I just wanted confirmation that I can still use my old priority date. I have no problems starting with a new labor, new I-140, as long as I can retain my old Priority date. Will you get real mad if I ask "can you re-confirm your answer" ? :D Nonetheless, Thanks a bunch again. :)

If you plan it right, you should not have problems.
- have your new employer apply for Perm asap anyways. These days labor comes in 45- 60 days via perm. You should immediately apply for i140. The 140 is also taking 3-6 months. Once you get your 140 you can apply for a 3 year extension instead of 1 year since 365 day rule applies if your labor was filed 365 days earlier and you do not have either labor or labor and 140 approved. Others in the forum can correct me if i am wrong.

I was wondering , if instead of a flowers campaign or bath tub stoppers and other ideas, how about if we send customized fuzzy dice cubes to uscis, which they can hang in their cars and see our message 'in their face' all the time. Hopefully after seeing the messages day after day our point gets driven home into their heads.
I was thinking we should have the faces of the dice cubes custom marked with the following 'F' motto messages

'Forward'

'Fix'

And send the following open letter to accompany the fuzzy cubes (May be even take full/half page ads out in newspapers, newsletters etc). I just put some ideas I had. The gurus can always add more to this.

- Follow the FIFO order of priority dates.

- Recapture wasted visas
- Allow to file I-485 irrespective of PD being current

- Make provisions to capture and count our waiting times in the GC process towards naturalization requirements. Most of us have been in US for 8-10 years average. How much longer do you need to naturalize us ??

- Fix the broken processes at USCIS
- Increase resources at the service centers
- Improve the customer service over telephone
- Be courteous to your customers
'Flawless'
- Provide flawless service.
- The highly skilled legal immigrant community deserves it. We pay millions of dollars in application fees to your orgnization and billions in tax dollars and Soc. Sec contributions to the US govt.
- Make online status updates more transparent.
- Provide more transparency around the processing dates, Visa number assignments, PDs, etc
We would have sent you nintendo game cubes instead of the fuzzy dice cubes. But alas, we are afraid we can't afford to risk any further drop in efficiency at your organization than the levels that it already is at.

I tend to agree, the first B&W one is the best in terms of composition. The new ones are not as "calm" somehow. I thought getting the railing to go all the way to the top corner would be better, but actually I think it is distracting. Interesting, maybe I learned something here. :p
