In my opinion I think we should get the news guys into this and get the information out there about the irresponsibility with which they have mismanaged the whole process. Such kind of problems usually grab headlines when it happens with US citizens.
I think we need to be heard. Imagine, insurance companies violating makes news, social security makes news, airport security regulations and mismanagement makes news _ WHY CANT THIS? THIS IS SO CRUEL. HOW MANY HOURS, MONEY, EFFORT HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN? CAN WE NOT GET SOME NEWS CHANNEL TO COVER THIS? SOMEONE TO SPEAK TO A JOURNALIST ABOUT HOW AWFUL IT HAS BEEN????
THIS HAS ALL THE ELEMENTS OF PAIN, AGONY, AND DECEIT. Please comment. Only when we do this, will we get the EB numbers to get increased. Only then , the lawmakers will get up and smell the coffee. LEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND WHAT DO WE GET AFTER OBEYING THE LAW? MISMANAGEMENT THROWN AT OUR FACE.

Hi,
Im having my H1B and 140 approved with my current employer. Now I got into a situation where in I need to file a new H1B with a new employer through whom im working on a project.But once my H1B is approved, my new employer will dismiss/cancel the new H1b Filed, as they just need to show that they filed a H1B for me.
Will this be a problem for my current 140 and GC processing or my existing H1B?
Coz that Im not going to use my new H1B, I can still continue using my current I94 right!
Any issues if my new H1b gets rejectd or queried!

I am working with a big company (company A) as a full time employee. My GC was filed under EB3. Priority Date is June 2004. Through another consulting company(company B), we started another GC process under EB2. Its priority date is March 2005. Based on what I read on various forums, it is possible to do interfiling from EB3 to EB2 and port priority date from EB3 to EB2. Is it true? We did not recapture the priority date when 140 for EB2 was filed. 140 for EB2 was approved under March 2005 priority date. I have EAD from employer A. Can I join employer B using that EAD and interfile from EB3 to EB2? Or is H1 transfer a safer option?

Good MOrning All I have 2 questions:
1.) My littel sister is living with a Looser for the past 10 teays and he refuse to file for her Residency. So got pregnat last year and now has a baby by him. Is there anything she can do to get her residency in this situation?
2.) I am married to a US citizen. I have a Pending case with USCIS however it has been draging out for too long. I wanted to file for my Residency using my Current marriage. She is a US citizen however dose anyone know if there is a limit or time frame when a US citizen can file for someone else? She was married before and filed for her X-husband residency. Can she file me now without any problem?

For how long you are waiting for GC and for how long you are willing to wait more for GC?
A lot of people have been for a long time. That is the reason IV has formed to eliminate/minimize the wait.
I don't think any one is willing to wait here !!!!

22 Democratic Senators are urging President Obama to stop deporting young people who are likely to be eligible for legalization if the DREAM Act passes. The White House has so far rebuffed such requests with the not very believable excuse that it's hands are tied. That's simply not so and the President's executive authority to solve immigration problems Congress is ignoring has been well documented. Hopefully, the pressure will start to pay off.
